Wedding-Nikki & Greg
Nikki and Greg got married on the most beautiful day this April had to offer.
My friend, and make up artist extraordinaire, Jewell was on staff that day as Nikki's personal assistant. She did a great job on her make-up and was at her beck and call well into the reception. She always does a fantastic job if you are ever in need of her expertise I highly recommend her...Nikki would too ;)
Nikki seemed ok she was a little more on edge than her normal self but she was still laughing...
and then her dad walked in...
and the water works were full on :) Mom and Nikki both!! I love moments like these and its such an honor to be a witness to it :)
and someone said "Ok Nikki, it's time to go" I honestly thought you might faint...poor thing.
But she held on tight to her dad and made it afterall :) Now this was all very touching to me because I KNOW Nikki is a big ole' daddy's little girl :) It was really sweet to see.
Greg waited patiently but ya know...he looks like he may pass out too!!!! LOL!!!
The tears turned to laughter pretty quick when the Pastor made the mistake of calling Greg by his twin brother's name :0
and more laughter when the pastor asked Nikki if she would take Greg to be HER "lawfully wedded WIFE" He was a hoot!!!
This shot from above is courtesy of my 2nd shooter Jennifer Crowe of Cobblestone Road Photography!! Thanks Jennifer :)
Then we were off to a 2nd location for the FUN STUFF!!!
Love it when I find a really good wall...this is a really good wall!!!
Nikki you have got that "look" nailed down girl....I'm calling TYRA!!!
The expressions on your friends faces just make this picture!!
Same location just a bit down the road
I loved loved loved the bridesmaids dresses!!! That little pop of blue is too cute!!!
I loved everything about this bouquet right down to the tiny little letter B tucked in it!!! So great!!
Nikki has the best laugh!! She did a lot of laughing that day and she was just gorgeous!!!
At the reception Nikki had picked out the coolest lighting for behind the wedding party table. I thought it was a really cool detail.
And I loved her cake topper with their initials...
A couple of really great speeches...
Then it was time for the first dance...
Father/daughter dance...I don't know what you two were talking about but it must have been funny :)
Greg and his mom were awfully sweet.
And the wedding party kicked off the party...
I did sneak Nikki and Greg out of the reception for a few minutes to make an attempt at some off camera lighting...Here is the result.
Thank you both so much for letting me be there with you on your most important day!!! It was beautiful and so well done!!!! I pray that you both will share a lifetime of love and joy!!! Now start working on those babies!!!!! :0
