Lakin's 1st Birthday Party

The Rosenburg's contacted me to shoot their son Lakin's first birthday party! As you will see it was quite an event for him! First I came over early to do a pre-party family shoot only to find him napping already :)



I think he was still a little sleepy when dad got him up to get dressed but after a few moments he was all smiles and ready to start his day!





He gave me a tour of his room and stopped for a moment to browse through some books.





After the tour he was ready to receive his guests.







Lakin's mom Becky did such a wonderful job making the decorations and cake!! She even made the little shirt Lakin is wearing in the image below!! I think I need to have her make a couple for my boys!!







Since Lakin was too young to know what to wish for his parents wrote out their wishes for him and read them to him. Mom got a little tearful as she read. They grow up so fast don't they.

I guess mom and dad wanted him to REALLY get a good taste of it!
