Ben's MMA fight

My friend Jamie contacted me to take some photos of her husband Ben's very first MMA fight. I was a bit nervous because I have never witnessed let alone photographed such an event but I was excited to take on something new. Here are some highlights from the evening.

Here is Ben mentally preparing himself while the other fights were taking place... he was the last fight of the evening.

























Finally it was time for Ben's fight. When he walked out I did not even recognize my friend... he looked mean!





Without hesitation Ben stepped into the cage and they locked them in.













In real life Ben is so sweet... here he is offering to help the guy up immediately after knocking him out.



By the way... Ben Won!!!



The first thing he did after they let him out of the cage was go hug his wife.



This picture cracks me up because Scott (the ref) somehow found his way into their moment... I love his expression.





Ben was so pumped full of adrenaline during his fight he needed a little help remembering what had just happened.



Obviously it was shocking to him too.




Congratulations Ben on winning your first MMA fight... it was pretty amazing!
